Ryanair has currently cheap flights from Stansted and East Midlands to Nantes. I just had a go and got a return ticket for £50 all inc. From Nantes airport, it is easier to rent a car (check: http://www.nantes.aeroport.fr/ANA-English/Page/Default.aspx) and it will take you 2 hours to reach Saint Barthelemy
